Hi and welcome to the summer issue of The Zeen - the magazine that's designed and written by the students of Harmony High School in Bloomington, IN, for teens everywhere.

Last spring, our school was chosen to be one of eleven First Amendment Schools nominated around the US, which means that it's our job to focus on the five freedoms of the First Amendment and promote them in every way we can. The Zeen is one of our ways of doing that: by learning how to communicate OUR point of view about the world, we are promoting freedom of speech for teens everywhere; supporting freedom of the press; and encouraging freedom of assembly over the World Wide Web.
